    Libby's First Steps

Libby took her first step today -- to her Daddy, of course! Just one step. We're thinking that Libby is going to a be a crawler/cruiser for some time. She just doesn't seem to be too interested in walking. We're just fine with that!

Henry, on the other hand, now walks everywhere. He's a busy little boy. He loves to help his Daddy out and must be doing whatever his Daddy is doing at any point: unloading the dishwasher, talking on the phone, typing on the computer, using the remote control. Henry has mastered most of our home appliances.

We're starting to see a word or two beyond "Da" and "Mawmawmaw". We showed Henry a Clifford the Big Red Dog book yesterday and he said, "CAT". He likes to say Cat a lot, along with Hadaaaah! Libby enjoys pointing to things and saying jibberish.

Libby went to the doctor on Monday to have a check-up after we found pink in her diapers. We thought it might be a UTI, but she's not sick and the initial test results don't show a UTI. So we think it might be diaper rash related and are treating her diaper rash.

Libby and Henry celebrated their birthday with twenty five of their closest friends on Saturday, June 4th. They ate chocolate cake, took a bath, and opened lots of wonderful presents.

Other guests included: Will Stuart and his parents, Grandma Pat and Pappa Joe, Laurie and Phil Hagele, and Ethan Charles and his parents.

After the birthday party, Henry and Libby took and nap and then went to St. Joseph's Church for their baptism. Father Bill Ashbaugh baptised Henry and Elizabeth.Pat and Joe Convery are Godparents.
